Are You Creative?
If you love creating things then this may be the volunteer role for you!
Individuals and sewing groups throughout Australia dedicate their time and creative skills to support Bosom Buddies. They contribute by crafting helpful items and patient aids, known as Buddy Gifts, which are packed into our Buddy Bags and Oncology Packs.
In 2023, over 2,500 patient aids were created by our volunteers to be included in more than 850 Buddy Bags that were gifted to breast cancer patients in Canberra’s public and private hospitals and in regional NSW.
